How can we reduce wear and make the jaw plate last longer?
1. Ensure the machine is running normally before feeding any materials.
2. After installing a new jaw plate, verify it is securely fixed and the contact surfaces are smooth.
3. Distribute materials evenly in the jaw crusher's crushing cavity to prevent material pile-up along the walls or one-sided overload, which can cause uneven stress on the jaw plate.
4. Monitor bearing temperatures closely and stop the machine immediately if the temperature exceeds 70ºC to identify and resolve the issue.
5. When shutting down the production line, stop the material supply first and ensure all materials in the crushing cavity are completely processed before turning off the power.
6. If the material being crushed is too hard, select a tougher jaw plate material to reduce the impact and wear.
7. Optimize the jaw plate structure to minimize sliding friction between the material and the tooth plate.
