Expert Tips to Prolong Jaw Plate Lifespan
1. Ensure that the machine is only fed once it has started operating normally.
2. When replacing the jaw plate, verify it is securely fixed and the contact is smooth.
3. Ensure materials enter the jaw crusher's crushing cavity evenly to avoid piles of material on the walls or one-sided overload, which can cause uneven stress on the jaw plate.
4. Monitor the bearing temperature, and if it exceeds 70ºC, stop the machine immediately to identify the cause.
5. When stopping the production line, first cease material supply and completely empty the crushing cavity before powering down.
6. For materials with high hardness, select a jaw plate material that is tough enough to absorb the impact.
7. Enhance jaw plate structure to reduce sliding friction between the material and the tooth plate, prolonging wear life.
